It's a big and exciting step when you take on staff, if you're providing a regulated activity (ie personal care) then you'll also need to think about registering with CQC before recruiting, but the payroll element of it need not be difficult.

YtB Payroll means you have a dedicated payroll portal for you to log into to see all your payroll information,  you input your staff's hours each month so we know how many hours your employees have worked for you and we do the rest.  We work out all the Tax, National Insurance and Auto Enrolment elements and tell you who to pay, how much and when to pay it.  Your employees have access to an employee portal which lets them download their payslips, P60s, see any company documents and book annual leave.

We will

  • Process the timesheets
  • Issues payslips for each member of staff
  • Liaise with HMRC and electronically file your records whenever you pay your employees
  • Produce P60s (annual statement) and P45s (for leavers)
  • Calculate any statutory sick pay
  • Let you know how much to transfer each month to your employees
  • Take care of the Auto Enrolment including
    • Assessment of all employee as to whether they’re Eligible/Non-eligible Jobholders/or Entitled Workers
    • Enrolment of employees onto the scheme
    • Communications – all letters for you to give to employees at relevant points
    • Process opt-in, opt-out requests
    • Ongoing monitoring
    • Pension file submission to NEST*
